The strategy lies in consolidating existing and proven economic pillars of the country such as tourism, financial services, seafood, information and communication technology, and agriculture. All these sectors are now under the limelight. To enable this process of consolidation, the business environment has been rendered more practical and simple to facilitate business creation and management.

Esta pequeña isla posee algunas características muy atractivas para posicionarse como un competidor serio en el panorama empresarial mundial. Political and climatic stability
Political stability and democracy enjoy solid bases in Mauritius. This is an essential factor for any investor who wishes to establish business in a foreign land. The tropical location of the country protects it from major climatic upsets. Summer and winter seasons do not reach extreme temperatures, leaving a rather constant average over the year. Inhabitants do not live under any threat of earthquakes, volcanoes or similar natural calamities.

People of Indian, African, European and Chinese origins have come together to create this multiracial society where the various cultures and traditions flourish in peace and harmony.
At 1,865 square km (65km long, 45km wide), Mauritius has
330km of coast, mostly sandy and with clear water. The island is a volcanic mass, a rich idyllic haven, which stands alone in its splendour in the middle of the Indian Ocean, some 900km east of Madagascar and just north of the Tropic of Cancer.
